Uvias Desai
UviDees is what we called him, at the time none of us new his age, but it didn’t matter, seems in gaming you can do that. The one commonality between everyone is the game, and age seems to take a back seat, as does, race, religion and gender.
Uvi, as I called him was an energetic person. He would often pop into mIRC and like “Cheers” everyone new his name and welcomed him. He made us laugh constantly and would see the brighter side of life. Him and I became friends through this game we played and often spoke on MSN. We would talk of girls and my children and family, and a lot of the time religion. He was wise beyond his years, and I mean that with everything in me. Talking to him sometimes was like talking to an old wise man, but I was often reminded he wasn’t when he would do his “laugh” or giggle on chat.
Uvais Desai was tragically killed January 26, 2009 when he was hit by a train.
He will be forever in my heart
As a mother I mourn his loss and as a friend I mourn for what will never be.
In loving memory
